801 South St. AOUO - Maintenance Technician (Entry Level)

We are a high rise condominium complex along Kapiolani Boulevard in Honolulu seeking a motivated individual who is hard working and willing to learn a variety of skills. This is an advertisement for the permanent, full-time (40 hours/wk.) position of Maintenance Technician I (entry level).

To qualify for this position you must:
Have a high school or equivalent education.
Be able to speak, read and write the English language sufficiently.
Be able to lift 50lbs.

Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Be available to work from 7:00am to 4:00pm on any scheduled day.
Not be afraid of getting dirty or completing labor intensive work.
You will be expected to:
Learn technical knowledge and develop new skills in electrical, HVAC and painting/finishing.
Complete some custodial cleaning work as needed.
Support the Maintenance Tech II, III and Supervisor(s) as needed.
Handle lite-duty power tools, hand tools, painting equipment and pressure washing.
