Upscale High Rise Condominium in Makiki has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Maintenance Employee.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Must have basic knowledge of condominium building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and safety of all common areas, including lobby, hallways, and amenities.
  • Maintain records of completed work, inspections, and necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with Resident Manager to ensure timely project completion.
  • Identify issues and report any necessary repairs to the Resident Manager.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Resident Manager.
  • Subject to routine random drug test as determined by the Resident Manager and/or Board of Directors.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be literate and able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • 5 years previous experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in a high-rise residential condominium building.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Certified Pool Operator.
  • Familiar with landscape irrgation systems including maintenance and repairs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours. Must also be able to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, & crawl. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer knowledge; proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and Office 365.
  • Experience in using BuildingLink a plus!
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Pre-employment drug test and criminal background check required.

 

Benefits:

  • Starting Salary Range $ 18 to $24 per hour depending on experence
